Punjab: At Least 8 Dead, 20 Injured After Private Bus Plunges From Bridge Near Bhatinda
At least eight people were killed after a passenger bus plunged a few feet below into a 'nullah' on Friday in Punjab. The accident took place in Kot Shamir Road when the bus was en rote Bhatinda from Talwandi Sabo was crossing a bridge.
The officials said that the locals rushed to the spot immediately to help the people get out of the bus.

The acting president's impeachment comes two weeks after the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol.
A total of 192 lawmakers voted in favour of Han Duck-soo's impeachment. The majority of votes needed for impeachment stands at 151.
Prime Minister Han took over as acting president after the National Assembly voted to impeach President Yoon. Yoon was impeached after his failed attempt to impose martial law on December 3, 2024.

Kazakhstan Plane Crash: External Interference Behind Crash, Says Azerbaijan Airlines
Amid the mystery surrounding the Kazakhstan plane crash, Azerbaijan Airlines has stated that "External, physical and technical interference" caused the crash on Wednesday.
An Azerbaijan Airlines flight, carrying 67 passengers and five crew members, crashed on Christmas Day near Kazakhstan's Aktau airport.
The incident occurred after the plane was diverted due to dense fog and forced to make an emergency landing. A total of 38 people were killed in the crash and around 29 passengers survived.
