CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Police are investigating the disappearance of a Taiwanese businessman who has been reported missing since October.

Authorities said a woman reported to the police that her employer, Kuo-Wen Hung, 47, of Barangay Merville, Parañaque, has not returned home since Oct. 10.

Reports said Hung was last seen driving a red Volkswagen to attend the Taiwanese Independence Day celebration in Tagaytay.

The woman told investigators that her employer’s wife, who is based in Taiwan, could not contact his phone since the day he left for Tagaytay.

She said that before her employer went missing, he posted on social media a video and a picture of himself with the Taal Volcano in the background.

On Oct. 13, a Taiwanese police attaché and four compatriots of the businessman reportedly sought the help of the police Anti-Kidnapping Group.

The AKG dispatched a team to investigate the complaint and review video footage of closed-circuit television cameras at the Sun Valley police substation and barangay hall.

On October 18, Duterte engaged in a two-hour media discussion where she made various comments about the president. She shared how she imagined cutting off Marcos’ head while addressing allegations related to fund misuse in the Department of Education and the Office of the Vice President (OVP).

The AKG said the victim’s car was not seen on the video leaving the area on the day he went to Tagaytay.adbackhome or ad casino
